Exceeds Expectations
When I purchased this duo, I was mostly excited to try Hard To Get, and while it’s a delicious scent, I Am Her is THAT GIRL.
First, Hard To Get reminds me over D&G Devotion. This scent opens with a burst of lemon mingled with Jasmine, and transitions to a yummy vanilla. At first, the lemon is the leading scent, and as time goes by, it is softened by the jasmine and vanilla. This is not just any vanilla, it’s FROSTED, and will have you smelling like a yummy iced lemon cake, sprinkled with jasmine. This is a sweet scent BUT as it dries down, it’s not as sweet, it’s so mellow and juicy. If you want to smell like a scrumptious, sophisticated slice of lemon iced cake and frosted vanilla, you need this perfume.
Secondly, I Am Her is like no other fragrance out there. There is no dupe. This fragrance is such a delight. Let’s talk about it. Literally, it opens with raspberry, pear and red velvet all at once. Idk how Jackie configured such a scent to smell each note individually and collectively, but she did that. A sweet gourmand that’s made to turn heads. This is the first time I’ve purchased a fragrance with such an impactful raspberry note. The raspberry is the leading note, complimented by the pear and red velvet soooo beautifully. And the dry down, whew! It’s so feminine and soft. I strongly recommend grabbing this scent as it is ONE OF A KIND. It’s one of those fragrances can be worn at any time all year round ( throughout winter, fall, spring and summer).
Overall, I…
